From 2020 all Diamond plastic products can contain the Biosphere additive. This allows our products to break down in a fraction of the usual time in the marine environment and if this enters a landfill site, typically one of our ice buckets will only take around TWO years to fully break down.
We are proud to be using the Polyair™ range of 100% recyclable, carbon neutral polythene products. This product has not only improved our green credentials and dramatically reduced our carbon footprint it has also provided a cost effective alternative to standard polythene.
Here at Diamond we are extremely conscious of the responsibilities of producing plastic products and the impact on the environment. To this end we are now producing many items entirely from our in-house recycled plastic such as this Ballantine's ice bucket.
